About Us
Reclaimed. Recycled. Renewed.
Smucker Village was born by revitalizing an old, abandoned gas station and giving it new life. We saw great potential in the location, in the heart of downtown Intercourse, PA, right across the street from the popular Kitchen Kettle Village. Rather than simply tearing down the old building and starting again, we chose to remodel the existing building, taking advantage of the wide garage doors and large windows that were part of the original structure, creating an airy, open space. We even added a 2nd floor to allow our guests more space to shop, browse, and be inspired. Comprised of several distinctive shops, we have something for everyone.
The Treasure Place is an ever-changing collection of unique furnishings and home décor, including local Amish-made barnwood tables and furniture. New items are always being added to the two floors of this beautiful space. On warmer days you'll find the overhead doors open, giving the store an amazing open-air feel. Grab a handcrafted coffee or tea drink from the adjoining Corner Coffee Shop and enjoy wandering through this incredible store.
Corner Coffee Shop is a village favorite for handcrafted espresso and tea beverages and lite local fare. Take a break and relax indoors or enjoy our outdoor courtyard area. Sip your favorite beverage and watch the Amish buggies go by.
Corner West is a delightful boutique filled with clothing, unique jewelry, purses, home furnishings, baby items, bath & body products, and so much more! Explore both floors of this lovely space and see all that Corner West has to offer.
Rolled Cold Creamery is an ice cream experience unlike any you've had before. Rolled ice cream is a product that's fun, fresh, and tasty - and made right in front you. Once you try it, you'll be coming back for more!
Over 1 million people visit the quaint town of Intercourse, PA each year and we’re proud to be a vital part of the community here. The combination of unique architecture alongside carefully selected furnishings and decor has made our store a popular destination with local residents and out-of-town visitors alike.
A History of Amish Craftsmanship
Smucker Village is proud to be a family business with a history of craftsmanship that goes back many generations. Both born into Amish families, owners Carl & Fan Smucker built a business based on hard work and high-quality workmanship. Their Amish heritage has given them a strong connection to the local community and to the highly-skilled Amish craftsmen who build our barnwood tables and furniture.
At Smucker Village, quality is a way of life and customer satisfaction is always a top priority. We guarantee that only the finest designs and quality-built pieces are brought to our customers.
